Cassie and I made a few seasonal playlists in the past, but haven’t done one in a while because we’ve both been kind of busy with life– you know… she went back to school, moved in with her lover, and is often seen fishing.  I just gave birth 3 weeks ago and we sold our house last weekend, so I’ve got a lot on my plate as well.  Regardless, we figured it was time to bust out a new playlist for the fall season!  Not only are we bringing you some beats; we are also sharing some of our fall favorites with you!

Okay…. so maybe not.  LOL  But listen, I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and I’ve got some work to do!  I will definitely be hiding under chunky sweaters this fall, but maybe not quite THIS chunky.  ;)

I’m all for a cute beanie that doesn’t mess up my hair.

When the weather gets cold, I never leave home without my Hydro Flask!  It keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for 12 hours!

Now that I have a baby again, I ALWAYS have to carry around a diaper bag.  So far I am a fan of my new one- JJ Cole Satchel in Stone Arbor!  (Bonus: It is BPA and PVC free!)

To be honest, I don’t watch much TV.  In fact, when we put the house on the market in June we moved our TV and didn’t have it hooked up for almost 3 months!  BUT.. one show I never miss is General Hospital.  I’ve been watching since I was 12.  I used to be a soap junkie and got mega depressed when they cancelled One Life and All My Children!  Thank goodness I discovered a love for reading!  Other than that, I DVR Revenge, Shark Tank and a few shows on the Food Network– Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, and Cutthroat Kitchen!  Oh, and I get stuck watching football thanks to Mr. Betty.

I have 3 kids.  Food needs to be fun!  Every October they look forward to banana ghosts and pumpkin oranges– they are fun to eat and so easy to make!  I also make sure to bake banana crumb muffins pretty often in the fall.  They taste amazing and make the house smell sooo good!  Last, but not least… I’m always cold, which means as soon as the weather gets chilly I start making homemade chilis and soups!

Oh yum.

Seriously… pumpkin anything is a must have every fall.  Some of my favorite fall snacks include:  Wawa Pumpkin Spice Coffee (if you don’t have a Wawa near you, THAT BLOWS!), KIND bars- Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt, KIND Granola Bars – Dark Chocolate Chunk Healthy Grains (these are cheap at Target!), Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s,  and Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Tea!

I have been meaning to read The Winner’s Curse for a really long time.  I finally bought it this week and just started it!  I have heard AMAZING things about Whatever Life Throws at You.. it is at the top of my TBR.  I have also gotten some awesome book mail lately!  I am really excited to read The Boy Next Door and The Secrets We Keep!

I am usually busy apple/pumpkin picking and hiking this time of year… and I will definitely get around to at least the pumpkin picking, but life is crazy at the moment with a newborn!  Plus, we sold our house last week so we are spending a ton of time house hunting!  I’m happy we sold our house, but not a fan of going through this process during my favorite holidays.  :(  We will most likely be moving mid December!

So tell me… what are YOUR fall favorites?!
